how do you do it

My therapist wants me to eat 3 times a day. I can't seem to do it. I am only getting by eating once a day. I don't even feel hungry. I sleep past breakfast time. I'm scared if I eat I will gain weight. I've eaten 3 times a day before so obviously I can do it again right? But how? I can't find it in me to do it! I need some help with this!

  1. Your body will slowly adjust to you eating 3 times a day. Honestly, you will gain a bit of weight in the beginning because your body is probably in starvation mode right now and wants to hold onto anything it can.

YOU CAN DO THIS AGAIN. I'm still struggling w/eating 3 meals a day on the days I'm not in day treatment. I tend to forget or talk myself out of it. IT's okay to need help/support and not be perfect. It's okay. just know..YOU CAN DO IT AND YOUR BODY NEEDS YOU TO DO IT. and i promise you, eating three healthy sized meals a day won't make you fat and your body will adjust.

<3 take care. hope you're feeling better. stay strong. you CAN do this.

  2. You need to just do it, theres really no two ways about it. Build yourself up with small meals to bigger ones. Trust that you will get more comfortable with it and you WILL feel better for it, i promise. And along with the other bazillion people in the world, you'll get used to it. The only thing left to do, is take action, Youll be ok.
